   DOCTRINE

  1. We believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  2. We believe Jesus is the Son of God. He was born of the Holy Spirit and conceived by Mary who was a virgin. He is both fully God and fully man. He died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead. He now reigns in Heaven as the resurrected King and will return to the earth to establish his Kingdom.

  3. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the Godhead. He regenerates, guides, teaches, empowers, and sanctifies believers. He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.

  4. We believe the Bible, consisting of 66 books of the Old and the New Testament, is the inspired Word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.

  5. We believe in the Genesis account in which God created the universe by his Word.

  6. We believe humanity was created in the image of God for God’s glory, distinct from all living creatures and designed for eternal life.

  7. We believe that every person has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Humanity is born with a sin nature and therefore cannot save themselves.

  8. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. One must believe in the gospel of His death, burial, and resurrection, repent of his sins and accept him as his Lord and Savior in order to be delivered from eternal judgment and have eternal life. It is the gift of God’s grace through faith alone.

  9. We believe in the Universal Church, which is the body of Christ and the community of all true believers, expressed in local churches all around the world. We believe the church celebrates their unity by, and are matured through, worship, the declaration of the Word of God, service to others, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, education, and fellowship.

  10. We believe that we are called to make disciples by proclaiming the gospel and teaching everything that Christ has commanded.
