Small Groups
HIC is not a church with small groups, but a church of small groups. Each member is encouraged to join a small group to minister to one another and to minister to the rest of the body (Heb. 10: 24-25). New small groups are announced at the beginning of every semester.
Ushers
Our ushers serve the church by greeting, passing out bulletins, serving the manual needs of the church, and praying for the church.
English Praise Team (EPT)
EPT leads the worship for Sunday Service, Wednesday Chapel, All-Out Worship, and special services.
Connect
Come connect with us after service on Sundays. Gather in small groups, enjoy coffee, fellowship, and discuss pre-prepared discussion questions over the sermon to dig deeper into God's Word.
Youth
Youth group consist of seventh through twelvth graders. The students primarily consist of Handong International School students and the youth of our professors. They meet Sundays during the semester after worship service.
Children
Children's ministry consists of toddlers through sixth grade. Children worship with us on Sundays, and then gather together for their own worship and Bible study after the offering has been taken up. They are studying the Gospel Project.
Communities
Worship, study the Bible, and enjoy food and fellowship with people who speak the same language and come from the same culture. Since HIC is an international church, we have many members from Africa, the Philippines, Mongolia, China, Russia, etc. The HIC communities afford them the opportunity to meet and worship together in their own flavor.
English Handong Discipleship School (EHDS)
EHDS is our one month summer discipleship school. It includes three weeks of intense discipleship training and ten days of mission. It happens every year in the month of July. Please consider supporting and joining EHDS this summer.
